Tempeh Sandwich (Quick, High-Protein & Delicious)

This Tempeh Sandwich is a perfect quick meal for breakfast, office lunch, or an evening snack.  Light, crispy, and packed with plant protein — it’s healthier and cleaner than most fast-food sandwiches.


⭐ Ingredients

     
  • 150g Mrs Bean Tempeh (thin slices)
  •  
  • 2–4 slices of bread (sourdough, multigrain, or regular)
  •  
  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
  •  
  • Lettuce leaves
  •  
  • Tomato slices
  •  
  • Onion rings
  •  
  • 1–2 tbsp mint mayo or hummus
  •  
  • Salt & pepper

⭐ Instructions

1. Toast the tempeh

Pan-fry the tempeh slices with a little butter or oil. Sprinkle salt & pepper. Toast until golden.

2. Prepare the bread

Lightly toast the bread slices.

3. Assemble

Spread mint mayo or hummus on each slice. Add lettuce, tomato, onions, and crispy tempeh  to build your sandwich.

4. Serve

Cut diagonally and enjoy warm.
